Advanced Certificate in Construction Studies (Management)
In order to encourage the in-service construction personnel to upgrade their professional knowledge continuously by taking continuing education courses offered by the HKIC, an Advanced Certificate in Construction Studies will be awarded to a student after completing a certain number of approved courses and gaining enough credits within the specified time period. Each approved course has a value expressed in terms of credits. Students pursuing the Advanced Certificate in Construction Studies (Management) must : (i) register in the Advanced Certificate Programme by completing the Application for Registration Form (ACM / ACT) and submit the form with the Registration Fee of HK$300.00 to the following address : Hong Kong Institute of Construction 38/F, COS Centre, 56 Tsun Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon (ii) successfully complete at least 15 credits of which at least 9 credits must belong to Construction Management Courses and the remaining credits can be gained from the Technology or Safety Courses (For details of courses, please refer to the attachment); (iii) complete the requisite number of 15 credits within a four-year period. Note : Course credits, at the discretion of the HKIC, may be given to those students who have completed corresponding HKIC(or CIC/CITA) courses before their registration in this Advanced Certificate Programme. However, course credits before registration, once approved by HKIC, will also be counted in the four-year study period.
