Diploma in Construction
It is conducted for youngsters who have completed secondary education and aim to nurture the trainees to be a knowledge-based tradesman and continue to develop to become a project supervisor or foreman.
Diploma in Construction is recognized as QF Level 3 under the Qualifications Framework in Hong Kong.

The one-year training course focuses on simultaneous development of academic and technical training and meets the needs of young people on career progression and further study. The programme has 5 individual disciplines. In addition, the programme offers common modules and whole person development training, including voluntary service (30 hours) and sport training (60 hours) to develop the self-awareness, analytical thinking, problem solving skills of the students.
HKIC will arrange the trainees to study the first year of Diploma of Foundation Studies - Engineering on a part-time basis at the Vocational Training Council (VTC) (Note 1). After completing the programme, the trainees can apply for Higher Diploma at VTC.
