Purpose
Nomination Criteria
Eligibility of Nominees
Nominee must fulfil the following requirements:
- Graduates of HKIC’s full-time programmes; and
- Working in the construcion industry; and
- Undergoing Construction Industry Council Approved Technical Talents Training Programmes (ATP) or Intermediate Tradesman Collaborative Training Scheme (ITCTS) or Vocational Training Council Apprenticeship Scheme; or
- Have completed Construction Industry Council Approved Technical Talents Training Programmes (ATP) or Intermediate Tradesman Collaborative Training Scheme (ITCTS) or Vocational Training Council Apprenticeship Scheme on or after 1 May 2023.

- Nominee's current employer (or on a company basis)
Judging Criteria
- Shows professionalism
- Good job ethics and proactive personality
- Passion and pride in pursuing a career in construction
- Construction related professional skills and knowledge
- Engagement to community service and the construction industry
Selection Procedures
- HKIC will conduct preliminary screening and the short-listed candidates will be invited to panel interview.

Awards and Award Presentation Ceremony
Announcement of Result and Awards
- Result will be announced in April 2025. Awardee, nominator and site trainer will be invited to attend the Award Presentation Ceremony
Awards
- Each awardee will receive a trophy and a certificate
- A trophy to the nominator and main site trainer of awardee
Nomination
Please submit the nomination form on or before 28 February 2025 and submit it to cos.admin@hkic.edu.hk or mail to “38/F, COS Centre, 56 Tsun Yip Street, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong (Attn: COS-Chloe Koo)” with remark of “Construction Industry Outstanding Apprentice Award 2025” on the envelope submission deadline.
