To cultivate students’ caring spirit, HKIC established the HKIC Volunteer Team in 2018, organising students and staff to participate in different volunteer services, including community cleanup, elderly companionship, and environmental protection, to gain a better understanding of the needs of other members in the society, develop their potential, broaden their horizon and give back to society by doing their utmost.

Additionally, HKIC introduces the “Project-based Volunteer Training and Service Programme” to Year 1 students of Advanced Diploma programmes. Government departments and different social welfare organisations are invited to jointly provide students with opportunities for comprehensive volunteer training and services, allowing them to learn mutual support and care, and make contributions to the community.
