Discussion rooms are located in both Kowloon Bay Campus and Sheung Shui Campus for staff and students' group discussion and collaborative works. Each discussion room can accommodate 4 users. Facilities available include whiteboard wall, display screen and Wi-Fi. Reservation can be made at LRC service counters and room that is not reserved will be made available on a first-come-first-served basis. Users should follow the Rules for Using Discussion Rooms.
Learning Resources Centre provides a Self Check Machine in both Kowloon Bay Campus and Sheung Shui Campus. Users with a valid staff card or student card can borrow LRC materials in a much faster and more efficient way, and the check-out notices will be sent to a registered email address.

Computer area have been set up in Learning Resources Centre for users to study and use LRC's electronic resources. Microsoft Office suite with applications for word processing, spreadsheet and presentation have been installed on all computers and some computers have installed Adobe and Autodesk software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Learning Resources Centre provides Octopus Card-operated photocopying and printing services. Free of charge network scanning to PC is also available by inserting a Octopus card to activate black & white or colour scanning.
