Remarks
(1) With effect from 1 February 2022, applicants aged 65 or above are required to submit a Medical Examination Report completed and signed by a registered medical practitioner (Specified Form as attached) when applying for a course with a trade test or certification test element, or any other courses as deemed necessary by the HKIC.
(2) For the classes commenced from 1 September 2022, students will receive an allowance of maximum HK$12,910 per month according to their attendance (The allowance includes the basic allowance of maximum HK$10,000 per month and the retention allowance.)
With effective from 1 May 2023 (counting course commencement date), the retention allowance will be distributed after the student has successfully completed the course, passed the Intermediate Trade Test (except for specific courses) and confirmed staying in the construction industry 3 months after graduation.

The Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) may at its absolute discretion without notice at any time and under any circumstances withdraw or modify the provisions of any goods or services.
