Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) is honored to have Dr. Christopher TO, former Executive Director of the CIC, to share his life stories and career development journey with students and staff. He shared how he started as an aerospace electronics engineer and gradually achieved outstanding accomplishments in various fields, including arbitration, mediation, and construction.

In his sharing, Dr. TO emphasised the importance of hard work and exploring one’s interests. He encouraged students to embrace challenges, learn new things, and actively participate in volunteer service to contribute to the society. Additionally, he shared valuable experiences in management and overcoming difficulties. He pointed out the significance of upholding fairness and ethical conducts in interpersonal relationships, while also maintaining empathy towards employees. He encouraged students to reflect on their shortcomings from others’ perspectives and strive for improvement in order to overcome challenges. Dr. Tao's sharing has definitely inspired students to become leaders of the construction industry!
