The competitor of Plumbing and Heating was invited to Shandong by the national team earlier to join an exchange competition with fellow competitors of Plumbing and Heating from other regions to polish their skills through competition. Competitors set up piping systems in the four-day exchange competition in different matches. The competition required competitors to undertake system installation and air pressure test tasks at their top speed as well as drawing designs of solar panel and water heater.

Ivan, competitor of Plumbing and Heating said the exchange competition was a valuable experience. He had the opportunity to exchange skills with other competitors from different places and upskill his abilities. He could also identify his weaknesses, in which he will undergo intensive training to improve his proficiency in measurement and pipe bending. Through the competition, he is determined to perform his best in the WorldSkills Competition in September!
