To raise students' awareness of occupational safety, HKIC invited the Association for the Rights of Industrial Accident Victims and the Hong Kong Repertory Theatre to deliver the "Be Considerate - Youth Occupational Safety and Health School Touring 2023-24" drama performance at Sheung Shui campus on 30 and 31 July. The drama was based on a fatal site accident in 2012, telling the story of the victim's family seeking the truth of the accident. By watching the drama, the students reflected on the concept of "Everyone is accountable to construction site accidents” and remember to maintain safety awareness, take safety measures, and uphold the attitude of "Life First, Say No to Danger" during work.

Representatives from the industry were also invited to share their insights on construction safety. The guest speakers not only encouraged students to use knowledge and critical thinking to evaluate all safety risks, but also emphasized the importance of not underestimating safety or being complacent. Everyone should care for themselves and others. If they observe any safety hazards, they should take the initiative to remind others, and take responsibility for the safety of their own and others' lives.
