In June 2024, HKIC successfully organised the "World Cultural Heritage: Fujian Tulou Cultural Tour" for students to explore the rich heritage in Fujian. To share the insights and experiences from this journey, the participating students held lunchtime sharing sessions at the Sheung Shui and Kowloon Bay campuses respectively from July to August. During the sharing sessions, the students introduced the renowned historical sites and vibrant cultural heritage of Fujian to their peers and staff.

Furthermore, HKIC invited Mr Leung Wai Kit, Director of Training and Curriculum Development of the Patriotic Education Centre, to be the guest speaker for the Whole Person Development Talk at the Sheung Shui campus on 6 August. Through his captivating introduction to the architectural features of Fujian Tulou, as well as the examples of the fusion of Chinese and Western cultures in Gulangyu, Mr Leung helped the students gain a deeper understanding of Fujian's cultural legacy and the significance of preserving this invaluable heritage.
