The WorldSkills Competitors of Construction Industry Council (CIC) joined the “Construction Workers Festival Carnival” on 1 December 2024, sharing their experiences and insights of participating in the WorldSkills Competition with guests, employers and workers. The training and the competition allowed them to become more mature and more courageous to take the challenges on in the future.

On that day, CIC presented a certificate of appreciation to Yee Hop Engineering Co Ltd, the employer of Mr. CHOW Lok-yin, the competitor in Welding, appreciating their support and sponsorship, as well as allowing Lok-yin to showcase his skills on the international stage.

Registration for the upcoming WorldSkills Hong Kong Competition will start soon. We look forward the industry and employers to encouraging young workers to sign up for being the next Hong Kong competitor to participate in the WorldSkills Competition!
