Curriculum
This programme aims to train frontline construction staff with the basic technique of using Navisworks to complete their assigned inspection work in construction projects. Upon completion of the course, participants will be able to explain and use the functions of Navisworks to complete basic measurements, annotation, collision detection, etc.
Course Content :
- What is BIM and introduction of the commonly used BIM softwares (Revit and Navisworks)
- Navisworks basics include software interface overview, 3D view navigation, viewpoint creation and sectioning functions
- Measurement, Area and Volume Tools
- Clash Detective / Report introduction and application
- Comment functions introduction and application
Admission Requirement
Completed Secondary 5 (under the Old Academic Structure) / Secondary 6 (under the New Academic Structure) or being a holder of a recognised certificate / diploma or above qualifications in building or construction, or equivalent; and possess one year or above working experience as foreman, project coordinator or above ranking in E&M or construction related field; and having basic computer knowledge which includes being able to operate word processing software, sending and receiving emails, Internet browsing, etc.

Conditions of Certificate Award
Students who attended 12 hours of the programme and obtained 50% or above in the Final Assessment will be considered as having successfully completed the programme and awarded the Completion Certificate.
