Registration Procedures
Applicants can now access the online registration system individually to view available class dates (and locations) anytime, anywhere, without having to register in person at the Council and the Academy. Each applicant who completes the registration process will automatically create a personal account, making it easier to enroll in courses at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction in the future.
If you register for courses in person at the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Kwai Chung Campus or the Construction Industry Council Service Centre, please bring your ID card and the required admission documents. Please upload the electronic copy of the payment receipt to the online registration system.

Please note: Applications for certificate courses and individual re-certification courses must be approved before tuition fees are paid.
Payment Methods
Starting from January 1, 2025, only application forms submitted through the online registration system will be accepted. Please complete the information and upload the required documents for individual courses online, and complete the online payment within 48 hours.
Electronic payment: VISA, MASTER credit card, EPS, UnionPay, BOCPAY, Alipay, WeChatPay
If you are unable to complete the online payment, please go to the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Kwai Chung Campus Safety Training Centre or the Construction Industry Council Service Centre in person during office hours to complete the payment procedures.

With the implementation of the online registration system, payment methods other than the online registration system will no longer be accepted. For inquiries, please call 2100-9000 or email KCCSafety@hkic.edu.hk.
Arrangements After Application Completion
When the online system status shows "Payment Successful," it means that the course you have enrolled in has been reserved.
Applicants will receive an SMS notification of the application status update. Please log in to your personal account in the online registration system to check the enrollment status and class arrangements.
If necessary, you can reschedule online through the online registration system 7 working days before the start of the course. If you are unable to attend due to any unforeseen circumstances within 7 days before the start of the course, please call 2100-9000 or email KCCsafety@hkic.edu.hk to contact the Safety Training Centre.
Classes may be rescheduled due to weather and venue conditions without prior notice. Students should pay attention to the latest class arrangements via SMS 3 days before the start of the course. Students should also log in to the online registration system again 1 day before the start of the course to check the latest class location and related arrangements.
Registration Instructions
Please read the course introduction and related regulations carefully before registering, and pay attention to any course changes on the Hong Kong Institute of Construction website.
Applicants have now logged into the online registration system to enroll in the specified course and pay the tuition fee. If you find that this is not the course you intend to enroll in, please return to the Hong Kong Institute of Construction website, check and enter the relevant course link, and complete the enrollment.
Gas Welding Safety Training Course: Class changes are not allowed within 7 days before the start of the course.
If the class is full, the online system will not display the class, and individual notifications of class status will not be provided.
If there are any changes to the course, it will be announced on the OPAS online system. Please log in to the website to check. The Academy will not provide individual notifications.
Applicants should pay attention to SMS notifications regarding application status updates. Applicants for re-certification should note: If still in the "Pending Approval" status, please check if additional information is required to complete the approval. After approval, applicants will receive an SMS notification. Please log in to the online registration system link to check the application form and see the status as "Pending Payment." Applicants must complete the payment within 48 hours. When the online registration status shows "Payment Successful," the system will immediately confirm the registration application.
Applicants must pay the tuition fee within 48 hours after approval or submission of the application, otherwise, the system will automatically cancel the course application.
After online payment, applicants can check the electronic receipt in the system. The Academy will not print/mail paper receipts for individual applicants.
Applicants must attend classes according to the date, time, and location of the enrolled course. The Academy will not provide separate notifications.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis, and will be closed when full.
Once the enrollment is confirmed, the tuition fee must be paid regardless of attendance. If the tuition fee is not completed, the Academy reserves the right to pursue the tuition fee and refuse the applicant or the institution from applying for any courses at the Academy in the future.
Tuition fees are non-refundable.
Tuition fees and enrollment cannot be transferred to others. Once admitted, applicants cannot use the paid tuition fee and obtained enrollment to transfer to other courses.
The Academy reserves the right to change the class date, time, and location. Relevant students should log in to the online registration system 1 day before the class to check the latest class location and date. No individual notifications will be provided.
The Academy reserves the right to decide whether to accept the applicant's admission application.
The Council reserves the right to terminate the student's classes and examinations for violating the student regulations, and the paid tuition fee will not be refunded.
Rescheduling Method
You can reschedule through the online application system (OPAS) within the specified time before the start of the course*. There is no limit on the number of changes, and it is free of charge.
If you are unable to attend any date of the course within the specified time before the start of the course* or request to reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, please email KCCsafety@hkic.edu.hk to contact us for follow-up arrangements, otherwise, it will be treated as an unexcused absence.
