[1] If you need to change the course date, you must submit an application via email to KCCsafety@hkic.edu.hk at least 7 working days before the class start date, or make the change yourself through this online registration system.
How to reschedule
1.1 Notify the college by email, and the college will only reclassify students once. The waiting time is 4 to 6 months. The administrative fee is HK$100 each time. The fee is waived for the first change.
1.2 If you have applied the course via the Online Application System (OPAS), you can make unlimited changes through OPAS 7 working days before the start of the course, free of charge.
[2] If you are unable to attend any course within 7 working days before the start of the course, or require rescheduling due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact us by email at KCCsafety@hkic.edu.hk for follow-up arrangements, otherwise we will Unexcused absences will be dealt with.
[3] If you are absent due to illness, please apply for rescheduling via KCCsafety@hkic.edu.hk within 10 working days with a valid medical certificate. The college will only reschedule the class time for students once, and it will be forfeited if it is overdue.
[4] If you fail to attend the course on time, the college will suspend your application for safety training classes for half a year. You are required to pay an additional administrative fee of HK$100 before you can re-register for the course.
[5] In case of unexcused absence, the tuition fee paid will not be refunded and the class time will not be rescheduled.
[6] If a student is absent for more than 15 minutes at any time, the exam qualification will be canceled and the tuition fee will not be refunded.
[7] You must bring your identification document with you on school days.
[8] Dress code for class
Campus: Must wear long pants and sleeved tops.
Workshops and training grounds: Appropriate clothing (e.g. long trousers, safety shoes) must be worn. A12 and A12S candidates are required to bring their own half leather gloves and are not allowed to wear vests, shorts, skirts, slippers, sandals, high heels or any open-toed shoes. Violators will not be allowed to attend class.
For those who violate the Student Instructions, the Council has the right to terminate their classes and examinations, and the tuition fees paid will not be refunded.
[9] If you enroll in a mandatory safety training course recognized by the Labor Department, the Construction Industry Council will have the opportunity to disclose the personal information you provide to the Labor Department for the following purposes:
(a) Enforce the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance, the Occupational Safety and Health Ordinance and other legislation enforced by the Labor Department;
(b) The Labor Department contacts you to check on matters related to attending the course; and
(c) Research and statistical analysis.
