Diploma in Construction (Enrollment of the 2020/21 academic year is over)
It is conducted for youngsters who have completed secondary education and aim to nurture the trainees to be a knowledge-based tradesman and continue to develop to become a project supervisor or foreman.
6 Programmes of Diploma in Construction are recognized as QF Level 3 under the Qualifications Framework in Hong Kong.

The one-year training course focuses on simultaneous development of academic and technical training and meets the needs of young people on career progression and further study. The programme has 6 individual disciplines. In addition, the programme offers common modules and whole person development training, including voluntary service (30 hours) and sport training (60 hours) to develop the self-awareness, analytical thinking, problem solving skills of the students.
HKIC will arrange the trainees to study the first year of Diploma of Foundation Studies - Engineering on a part-time basis at the Vocational Training Council (VTC) (Note 1). After completing the programme, the trainees can apply for Higher Diploma at VTC.
Note 1: Admission to VTC courses will subject to VTC's arrangement. Number of learning hours will depend on the exam result of Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE). Some lessons will be held at evenings.
