Part One (3 hours x 15 sessions and 3-hour Part 1 examination): Statutory and Other Relevant Requirements Legislation and relevant requirements for management of air quality, noise, water quality, wastes, environmental impact assessment, conservation, landscape and visual impact, cultural heritage and other environmental issues such as energy saving, green office; contractual requirements for management of noise, air quality, water quality and wastes. Part Two (3 hours x 21 sessions and 3-hour Part 2 examination): Preparation and Implementation of EMP Noise control practice; air pollution control practice; water pollution control practice; waste management technique; introduction of environmental management; key elements of environmental management; preparation of EMP; implementation of EMP; report writing skill; environmental monitoring and audit; implementation of management audit and corrective actions; communication technique; development of training programme and training technique; green procurement; emergency preparedness, supervision, monitoring and control of subcontractors and suppliers.
The course is recognized by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM) fulfilling the requirements of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
